April 16th, 2017-April 23rd, 2017 is Earth week! Luckily for us, Eugene is full of wonderful events to celebrate our planet.

Earth Day at EWEB’s River Edge Plaza will be featuring over 50 educational booths with activities for kids, music, plants sales, environmental films, green school demonstrations, & more! Saturday from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. To learn more visit: earthdayoregon.com/events.html
Earth Day in Coiner Park! There will be food, music & booths. There will also be an “All Species Parade” taking place at the park at 2 p.m.. Participants are encouraged to bring their own costume! The Science Factory will be hosting an Earth Day Celebration on April 22, 2017 from 11 am to 3 p.m. They will be focusing on reducing our carbon footprint and how we can sustain our future. To learn more visit www.sciencefactory.org
BRING will be hosting two events at the Planet Improvement Center. Volunteers from the Lane County Extension Service will be having a composting workshop from 10 a.m. to noon. Staff will teach how to build cedar planters and cold frames from salvaged materials from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
