Automated online home evaluations can give individuals a basic understanding of what their home is worth, but are really more of a starting point than the final word on pricing.  A home’s value has many more variables besides the square footage, and number of beds and baths.  Often times Zillow or other automated evaluations compare homes that are located in the same general area without taking into consideration other important property details.  A home’s floor plan, quality of craftsmanship and finishes, renovations, special features, lot description and specific location are factors that affect a home’s value.

Do you believe in the accuracy of automated online home evaluations or would you rather have a broker evaluate your home?
