In a “Seller’s Market” why should I list my home with a Realtor?

An experienced Real Estate Broker has a thorough knowledge of the real estate market, understands the terms in the real estate sale agreement, and has the skills necessary to advise on the details that must be negotiated to close the transaction. A homeowner takes risks with not understanding contract law and real estate industry norms. When it’s not one’s expertise or full-time job, it can be a difficult task keeping up with all aspects of the sale including time sensitive dates. One poorly executed contract term can cost thousands of dollars, far outweighing the savings a person might reap by not hiring a REALTOR® to help with the sale. A home is a person’s largest investment. It really does pay to trust an expert with the specialized services needed to list and sell a home.
